Suitable for many periods, but especially Georgian and Victorian, this faux marble hearth is designed to inlay into your existing flooring (or it can sit on top).

The faux marble is a perfect match for the Georgian Marble Fireplace so you can now buy a fireplace with a matching hearth.

The faux marble is shown as an example but due to the nature of the product the pattern will vary.

Approx overall size: 4 3/8ths" (110mm) L x 2" (50mm) W x 1/16th (2mm) D.

The hearth comes in green, cream, brown & red.

Kit Review in Dolls House & Miniature Scene Magazine

For subscribers who had the Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine drop on their doormat yesterday, you may have spotted that there was a kit review for our Georgian Marble Fireplace on page 75.

We were thrilled to receive such a positive review for our first fireplace.

Here are a couple of snippets from the review by Ann Sutcliffe for those of you that may not get the magazine:

Ann has painted her kit in a Craig & Rose 1929 Adam Cream emulsion and it picks up the colours in the green imitation marble nicely.

The kit is available in 3 other colours - cream, red and brown.

A contemporary design based on it's full size counterpart, let your dolls house family put their feet up in front of the crackling log fire and enjoy the comforts of their modern home.

The log fire looks best inset into a chimney breast but this is not essential.

Welcome to JS Miniatures Blog

Hello and welcome to our blog.  Our intention is for this to be an opportunity for you to be the first to find out about our new products, special offers and what's going on.

As we begin 2011, JS Miniatures is comprised of me - Jennifer, the designer and manufacturer and my fiance Paul who keeps me on the right track.  Who knows where 2011 will take us!

We have a few exciting opportunities lined up for 2011 and we will post more about these when we have definite details but you should see a review of our first fireplace in two of the UK dolls house magazines later this year.
